We welcome you to our web site and ask that you take a few moments of your time to look through the following pages which we hope will encourage you to stay with us.
We are a small, family run caravan park in a rural setting overlooking a lovely valley with views of typical rolling Cornish countryside going away in the distance. It is especially recommended for families and couples who like a more relaxed and quieter environment in which to enjoy their holiday. Caravans, Motor Homes and Tents are all welcome.
It is a Camping and Caravan Club listed site and has been awarded 3 flags by the AA and has again achieved one of the highest percentages in this category for 2019 in this area for a touring site and we are very proud of the high standards we have maintained to receive this result.
The shower and toilet block is quite new having been completed in 2011 to a very high standard. Laundry and washing up facilities are readily available and we now have a small shop stocking most commonly used groceries and some useful camping accessories together with an integrated reception area.
It makes a superb base to visit and explore the rest of Cornwall being placed very centrally with easy access to the A30 (3 miles), main line train service at Truro (7 miles) and a bus service from Perraranporth with links to most areas.
Perranporth, with its magnificent 3 mile beach backed with extensive sand dunes and numerous rock pools is always an instant hit with visitors and locals alike. It has lifeguard patrols during the season and is world renown for the surfing which is very impressive. The town boasts plenty of modern amenities with a good selection of shops, 3 supermarkets, most of whom stay open quite late in the season, restaurants, take-a-ways, and bars. A Doctors and Dental Surgery is located in the town together with 2 Chemist shops. There are 2 camping shops very close.
There are several surf training schools, riding stables (3 miles), a parachute club (2 miles), fishing lake (2 miles), outside swimming pool (on the beach), heated swimming pool (nr. Truro 5 miles), tennis courts ( Perranporth ), 18 hole golf course (2 mile).
The typical Cornish and charming village of Mithian is less than a mile away, easy walking distance and has a lovely 16th century pub/restaurant with quaint small, low beamed rooms.
Other places of interest are too many to fully list but the main ones are probably The Eden Project (nr. St Austell 16 miles), The Tate Gallery (St Ives 20 miles), Flambards Amusement Park (nr Helston 18miles), Falmouth for its amazing Maritime Museum, marina, docks, Pendennis Castle and headland, river trips and numerous beaches (20 miles), The Lost Gardens of Heligan (nr. Mevagissey 18 miles). The National Trust has many lovely houses and gardens to visit nearby.
Newquay with its vibrant town and numerous beaches is only 9 miles away and the Cathedral city of Truro is only 7 miles distant.
